SAN ANGELO — On-campus classes at Grape Creek Independent School District have been canceled Tuesday due to freezing area temperatures, according to a statement on the district's official website.

This doesn't mean that children will get the day off.

"Due to expected inclement weather, Grape Creek ISD will move to remote instruction only for (Oct. 27, 2020)," according to the statement.

Grape Creek ISD officials tentatively plan to resume in-person classes on Wednesday, Oct. 28 unless otherwise stated on the district's website.

Parents of students attending Grape Creek ISD were asked to check for correspondence from their child's teacher concerning classwork assignments, and stated a link for parents to access Google Classroom will be provided.
