This year's Grape Stomp Festival is going to look a little different. The annual event, hosted by Bold North Cellars, takes place at Carlos Creek Winery today, Friday, Sept. 18 through Sun. Sept. 20.

Due to COVID-19, all attendees must have a ticket to get in. Only 250 people will be able to attend at one time with tickets good for a three-hour time frame.

Masks will be required inside any of the buildings, inside vendor tents, in lines or anytime you are outside and not able to maintain a 6-foot distance. Organizers of the event noted that if a medical condition does not allow you to wear a mask, you are invited to come back next year.

There will be a "Best Mask" competition each day.

Grape stomping at this year's event will look different and will only take place on Friday and Sunday for the general public. Saturday's grape stomping will be done by members of the Carlos Fire Department and will take place at 11:30 a.m., 2:30 and 5:30 p.m.

A portion of proceeds from this year's event will be donated to the Carlos Fire Department.
