(WFSB) - Grape Nuts says it is arguably to thank for The Andy Griffith Show.
According to the cereal's website, Post sponsored a late 1950's TV series called The Danny Thomas Show.
A spinoff premiered in 1960, and The Andy Griffith Show became an American staple, and the subject of March 4's Throwback Thursday segment on Channel 3.
