LOWVILLE — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County, 7395 East Road Lowville, will host “Growing Early Girl Tomatoes in a Bucket” on Wednesday, July 8, from 1 to 2 p.m.
The class will be led by Outreach Ag Educator Mellissa Spence. Cost is $5 and preregistration is required. All social distancing guidelines must be followed.
Each registered participant will go home with a 3.5 gallon bucket, soil, a bamboo stake, and one tomato plant. The class will be moved inside if it rains.
Youth under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Register by calling 315-376-5270 or emailing lewis@cornell.edu by July 6 at 4 p.m. Paperwork is required of all participants.
